| When Ryan Was Younger | When Ryan was four-years-old and his dad asked him what he wanted for his birthday he simply said "Tony Hawk". The Sheckler's lived in Southern California and at the time the Hawk was somewhat an accessible athlete, sos Ryan's Dad found Tony's Email and invited the legendary skater to his sons birthday party.Sure enough the mega-skateboard star showed up. |
| As Ryan Grew up More | Meeting Yony Hawk cemented the young skater's love of the sport and from that point he knew he wanted to be a Pro skater like Tony when he grew up. Ten years later and the 14-year-old Sheckler started winning everything in street skating from the X Games to Slam City, Beating out the very heroes he emulated for most of his younger childhood. Now 16-years-old Ryan is a veteran on the scene and always a favored when it comes to the contest scene. |
| Ryan Now/So far | So far this season Ryan's dominated and traded the spots back and forth with the latest skate favourite, Nyjah Huston. Sheckler was the Drew Tour winner last year and he's hoping to hold tight to his top podium spot this year, but two more spots on the tour, it's still anyones game. |
